About Backcountry Beauties
Backcountry Beauties began in December 2023 as a Colorado community built around women finding one another outdoors. Its app is the organizing hub for member-led adventures and scheduled events that range from backcountry tours and inbounds uphill days to resort meetups and online information sessions. Recurring gatherings in Denver, Golden, Boulder, and Frisco give participants a way to meet potential partners before committing to a day in the mountains.
The group is broader than a formal ski club or guide service: it is a connection network for women with varied outdoor backgrounds. Newcomers and experienced tourers can both find community-building events, while participants remain responsible for choosing activities appropriate to their skills and safety preparation.
