About Colorado Mesa University Cross Country Ski Team
Colorado Mesa University Cross Country Ski Team is a competitive Club Sports program within CMU Athletics. Its athletes race in USCSA rather than the NCAA, yet train with access to certified athletic trainers, sports medicine, strength and conditioning facilities, nutrition support, performance testing, and campus fitness resources. A professional head coach works alongside team captains and a student manager.
Student-athletes do far more than show up for workouts. They help wax skis, manage equipment, support races, recruit teammates, organize events, and represent the program in the community. CMU has won a USCSA team title and individual national championships, produced All-Americans, and sent athletes to the FISU World University Games. The team welcomes experienced CMU skiers who want serious collegiate racing within a close-knit, high-performance culture.
