Colorado Mountain College Eagles Ski Team

Colorado Mountain College’s Eagles are not a casual campus ski club. The coed alpine program selects active FIS racers and competes in the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association as an associate member, placing CMC in the same conference environment as western Division I ski programs. Athletes may complete a bachelor’s degree over four years or race while earning an associate degree before transferring.

Steamboat provides an unusually practical training base. Howelsen Hill is within walking distance of campus and supports lighted slalom sessions, while Mt. Werner supplies giant-slalom and additional race terrain three miles away. Flexible morning, afternoon, and occasional evening sessions allow training to work around class schedules and snow conditions.
