CSU Alpine Ski Team
Colorado State’s alpine racers represent the Rams through a student-run club-sport program, raising much of the money needed for race entries, equipment, lodging, and travel to collegiate competitions.

About CSU Alpine Ski Team
CSU Alpine is a competitive club team rather than a university-funded varsity squad. Its racers represent Colorado State in collegiate alpine events, while students shoulder much of the organizational and financial work needed to reach the start gate. Team fundraising specifically supports travel, lodging, race entry fees, and equipment—costs that otherwise fall heavily on individual athletes.
That self-supported model distinguishes the program from nearby NCAA teams: joining means contributing to the life of the club as well as racing. The public university sources confirm Alpine as part of CSU Club Sports and document active fundraising in both the 2025 and 2026 seasons, but they do not currently publish detailed tryout standards, a training mountain, or a full public race calendar.
