CSU Nordic Ski Team

CSU Nordic describes itself as both a club and a family. Founded in 2020, the student-run team welcomes a wide span of experience, from beginners learning the sport to seasoned competitors. Members race through the collegiate season, but the program’s social and instructional value extends beyond results.

The team receives only a portion of its needs from Colorado State club-sport allocations. Students raise money for race fees, transportation, lodging, food, wax, and equipment upkeep so competition remains accessible to more teammates. That practical, collective work is central to the program’s identity. CSU fundraising pages document trips to USCSA Nationals and identify the organization as a beneficiary of the university’s Club Sports fund.
