University of Colorado Buffaloes Ski Team

The Buffaloes are CU Boulder’s NCAA Division I ski program, with recruited men’s and women’s alpine and Nordic athletes competing as one team in the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association. Unlike a club team, selection is tied to international ranking and recruiting, and available scholarships may be offered to top applicants. Eldora is the program’s home facility for both disciplines.

CU entered the 2026 postseason after winning the RMISA regular-season title, leading the conference in both alpine divisions and men’s Nordic while finishing second in women’s Nordic. The schedule moves between slalom, giant slalom, classic, freestyle, and sprint events before RMISA and NCAA championships. That combined format makes depth across four squads as important as any single race victory.
