Boulder Nordic Club

Boulder Nordic Club has supported cross-country skiing in the city since 1986. Its most visible work happens only when Front Range weather cooperates: volunteer operators use club-owned equipment to groom a short skate and classic loop at North Boulder Park under an agreement with the City of Boulder. Some winters bring only a handful of skiable days, so condition reports, a webcam, and Nordic Pulse updates are essential parts of the service.

The club also co-hosts an annual November ski swap with Boulder Nordic Team, shares regional trail information, and represents local skier interests with Eldora, Snow Mountain Ranch, and other Nordic centers. Memberships and donations fund the grooming machinery and operations; the resulting track is free public skiing in the middle of town.
