Colorado Front Range Cross-Country Ski Club

Colorado Front Range Cross-Country Ski Club began in 2019 and became a member-supported 501(c)(7) recreational club in 2024. In its first years, roughly 1,000 people took part in more than 200 events. Members call themselves “nordorks,” a bit of self-aware personality that fits an organization built around skiing together rather than maintaining one trail system or fielding a formal youth team.

The calendar ranges widely: tours on winter trails and in the backcountry, days at groomed Nordic centers, technique clinics, races, social gatherings, and overnight hut trips. Events are organized for different skill and fitness levels through the club's member site and Meetup presence. For Denver and Boulder adults seeking partners and varied destinations, the network itself is the main asset.
