Cloud City Mountain Sports builds winter-sport opportunities around Leadville's high-altitude landscape rather than a single competition track. At Ski Cooper, its Buddy Werner alpine team emphasizes independent all-mountain skiing and fundamentals before limited gate experience, while Youth Ski League and older race programs provide a route into more structured competition. Its community Cooper Cups invite alpine skiers, telemarkers, and snowboarders to race giant slalom together.

On the Nordic side, younger skiers can progress from Bill Koch programming into a Youth Development Team that teaches both classic and skate technique.
