Colorado High School Ski League

The Colorado High School Ski League is the statewide framework for school-based alpine and Nordic competition. Its member teams stage regular-season races under Colorado High School Activities Association rules, and only athletes attached to participating school programs may enter. Students whose own school lacks skiing may, under CHSAA provisions, be eligible to join another program in their district or the nearest participating school.

The season leads to separate alpine and Nordic state championships, with slalom and giant slalom on the alpine side and classic and skate racing on the Nordic side. CHSSL also preserves an unusual all-around tradition: the Skimeister competition combines finishes across all four disciplines to recognize Colorado's most complete high-school skier. Snowboarding and telemark are outside the league's competitive scope.
