About Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club
Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club has served Boulder-area athletes for more than 50 years, pairing season-long coaching with a home mountain close enough for after-school training. All Mountain Devo exposes first-year team members to racing, freestyle, freeride, and broad mountain skills before families choose a more specialized path. Older athletes can progress into alpine racing or competitive freestyle, freeride, and snowboard programs.
EMSC also partners with Boulder Skimo on a youth ski-mountaineering team for ages 12–19. That program trains twice a week at Eldora, teaching skinning technique, transitions, endurance, avalanche awareness, and race tactics in an in-bounds setting. Across disciplines, the club's location is part of its identity: serious development and competition access for Front Range families without relocating to a resort town.
