About Ski & Snowboard Club Vail
Ski & Snowboard Club Vail is a nonprofit youth club serving more than 750 athletes with 181 coaches across six snow disciplines: alpine, cross country, freeride big mountain, freeski park and pipe, moguls, and snowboard, plus summer cycling. Programs run part-time one to three days a week, mostly weekends, or full-time for athletes ready to specialize.
The Golden Peak Training Venue on Vail Mountain provides early-season snowmaking, full-length speed terrain, slalom and GS lanes, a dedicated mogul field, and an on-site clubhouse for tuning, video review, and strength work. Maloit Park in Minturn offers roughly 10 kilometers of SSCV-designed and maintained Nordic trails that have hosted FIS-homologated events. The Minturn Fitness Center supports year-round human-performance training, with supplemental freeski training at Woodward Copper.
SSCV does not operate a school. Its academic partners are Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy, an Eagle County Schools public school for grades 6–12; Vail Mountain School, K–12; and Red Sandstone Elementary, PK–5. Scholarships can cover up to 100 percent of program fees.
