About Team Summit Colorado
Team Summit Colorado began in the early 1970s as the Summit Skiing and Educational Foundation for young alpine racers. It later became an early adopter of snowboarding in the late 1980s and big-mountain programming in 2008. Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Keystone remain its core resort partners, giving athletes access to several distinct venues within one county.
Today's programs span alpine racing, freeskiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing, skimo, and introductory team experiences. Alpine alone ranges from Youth Ski League development through age class, ability, full-time academy, and post-graduate training. Families also play an operational role through race and event volunteering. This is a large, multi-venue pathway designed for athletes who already ski or ride proficiently and want sustained coaching rather than basic lessons.
