About Telluride Nordic Association
Telluride Nordic Association professionally grooms Priest Lake, Trout Lake, and the M59 River Trail while coordinating a regional network that also includes Town Park, the Valley Floor, TopATen, and Mountain Village. The settings vary widely: rolling forest loops at Priest Lake, a snow-reliable railroad grade at Trout Lake, a double-track classic river route, and 15 kilometers of open Valley Floor terrain maintained by the town.
From its Nordic Center in Town Park, TNA rents skis and snowshoes, provides lessons and clinics, and runs youth programs. The calendar mixes skill-building with community traditions such as the Butch Cassidy Ski Chase, trailhead meetups, and a moonlight progressive dinner. Trail counters and agency partnerships help the nonprofit document use and plan grooming across public and permitted land.
