About Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club

Telluride Ski & Snowboard Club has operated as a nonprofit since 1985 and is explicitly a competitive program rather than a substitute for ski school. New athletes arrive with at least two years of lesson experience and the ability to ski Telluride's blue terrain confidently; Team Gravity then helps younger members transition toward a discipline. By fourth grade, athletes can specialize based on skill and interest.

The menu reflects Telluride's terrain and community: alpine racing, freestyle moguls, freeride park, big mountain, snowboard, Nordic, all mountain, and even complementary summer mountain biking and figure skating. Competition can remain local or progress toward regional, national, and international levels. Family work credits and volunteering help stage club activities and fundraising, reinforcing the club's community-run character.
