About Wolf Creek Ski Team
Wolf Creek Ski Team is a small Pagosa Springs-based alpine nonprofit for skiers ages 7–17. Athletes train at Wolf Creek from the beginning of the resort season through April, working not only on race technique but on the confidence to handle variable snow and terrain. The team hosts its own giant slalom and super-G races and travels to slalom and giant-slalom events around the mountain Southwest.
The Larry Fisher Scholarship & Support Program helps families meet participation costs, giving the club a practical access component alongside coaching and travel. The organization is best understood as a regional race team rather than an all-discipline winter club: alpine fundamentals, speed events, and a season shared with neighboring Southwest teams form its core.
