Telluride Adaptive Sports Program

Telluride Adaptive Sports Program favors a small, individualized model. Its most common product is a one-to-one technical lesson with a lead instructor and sometimes an assistant; all adaptive equipment is included. The team also guides skiers with visual or hearing impairments, accompanies sit-down skiers, and offers snowboard instruction across ability levels.

Independent skiers and riders who need terrain guidance rather than a lesson can book a trained ski buddy. TASP is careful about the distinction: buddies show participants around the mountain and help choose suitable terrain but do not replace technical instruction. Programs are customizable for people over age four with permanent disabilities, and separate military offerings include lesson discounts, Warrior Wednesdays, and multi-day winter experiences for veterans and active-duty service members with disabilities.
